MISUNDERSTANDING
May Allah (SWT) guide us through life.
We, unfortunately, live in a time where Islam is becoming a topic of hate and crime. People have found a way of getting food on the table by talking bad about Islam. Saying things, yet not knowing the topic they are talking about. They blame the actions of one person on a religion based on the holy book "Quran". saying "Islam is a religion of terror because we see it" yet seeing it, doesn't prove it when it comes to Islam. Islam is no human being, it's the Quran! only our profits where the pure example of Islam. Yet, when we say this to the ignorant people, they still don't believe our words. their ignorance will be their own downfall. In the Quran, it even states "there will be those there will find the pleasure of dragging you down" Hate is a sickness of its self. As all of my Muslim brothers and sisters have experienced, I have also been through my fair share of racism. A man once came up to me and said "Your religion is creating terror" yet the look on his face turned when he saw me smiling. His words didn't irritate me, I knew his ignorance let to his foolish words "may Allah (SWT) show him guidance" I answered "If you worked at a grocery store and they had rules and a dress-codes you need to follow. But one day you decide to go against those rules, whose mistake is that?" the look on his face described his feelings, he seemed rather mad. "it is of course mine fault" he answered. We need to explain that Islam isn't the man next door or the man creating terror, Islam is the book sitting on our shelf, the book we read every day, Islam is the Quran. With that, more people WILL read the Quran and see its beauty instead of jumping to conclusions.
So if you are a non-Muslim reading this article and thinking bad about Islam, please do not blame the action of one person on a religion of respect and equality. Remember as a Muslim we know the truth, Islam is no such religion as you may say. When I write an article like this, it is not to prove something about Islam, but that Allah (SWT) hear everything and that I want to make you aware of your mistake. I fear the punishment Allah (SWT) will give.
